Upcoming Projects and Trips

During the past few months, we have extended the library to include reflections from Tokyo, Osaka, Dubai, Istanbul, and more from Hawaii.  It seems to me that the quality or the age of the glass is relevant to obtaining abstract, warped images of the kind that I am looking for.  In that regard, Istanbul was the best "treasure trove" for interesting, abstract forms.  Most of the glass in Japan resulted in perfect, mirror-like reflections which did not do a lot for expanding our collection.  Nevertheless, I did find some very nice studies in Osaka and Tokyo.  It just took a little longer to find them.

A book called "Finding Beauty in Chaos" is under development.  The claim is that one can find beauty in a rock-slide. a mob, or the reflection in a large glass building.  Initial proofs have resulted in encouragement from friends and critics.  It should be published in the Spring of 2008.
